How electricity bills are calculated in Telangana State?
Normally any electricity bill calculation will be based upon total number of consumed electricity units and their Tariffs or slabs (categories).
In Telangana, based upon number of electricity units consumptions, Tariff or slab rates are divided into three categories.

What is the cost of 1 (one) Unit electricity in Telangana?
The cost of one unit electricity will be depending upon your total number of units and corresponding category or slab.
So If your number of units is less than 100 say 95 you fall under category 1 i.e., LT-I(A) and Your approximate bill will be 322.7 rupees as shown below

The Customer charges differ based on number of units consumed.

Electricity Duty Charges in electricity bill in Telangana
Electricity Duty Charges will be your total number of units multiplied by 6 paise i.e., that is 0.06 Rupees.
For example if the number of units is 450, the electricity duty charges will be 450*0.6 = 27.
Fixed Charges in electricity bill in Telangana
Fixed charges introduced as part of changed tariff details in Telangana from 01.04.2022.
The charges are based on contracted load.

And If your RMD is greater than Contracted Load then the fixed charges will be multiplied by RMD.
